In the furthest corner of Sognefjorden lies the idyllic small village of Solvorn. Walaker Hotel is a wonderful setting for meetings and conferences, with a peaceful atmosphere in the hotel and the village. We can offer modern meeting rooms in our beautiful art gallery, where the walls are graced with exciting artworks.

We have 25 double rooms in the hotel, but we also have access to a further 13 double rooms in two small buildings next door.

As well as the art gallery, we can also set up a meeting or event venue in the old Tingstova building. We have 6 smaller meeting/event rooms in all.

We have all the equipment required for hosting a meeting.

Weddings & Events

Would you like to have the hotel to yourselves for your next big celebration? You can hire the entire Walaker Hotel and have one of the best venues possible for the big occasion.

For large parties, Walaker Hotel can seat up to 64 guests for dinner. You can choose from 3, 4 or 5-course gala dinners.

What about a aperitif in the rose garden, before entering the restaurant? If the weather is unkind or rain threatens, we can serve aperitifs in the 3-story Gallery Walaker.

Breakfast the next day is served whenever you feel ready for it. Generally, breakfast is served from 10.00 to 12.00, followed by a late check out.
