Lusterfjord

The Lusterfjord is the innermost arm of the Sognefjord, and the finest, naturally! You can choose to see it from land or water. Spend the day in the saddle of a bicycle, or hire a kayak or canoe and go looking for the varied fauna. You could also enjoy the whole thing without breaking sweat at all on a boat trip.

When the air temperature is warm and stable, Solvorn's sheltered location helps the bathing temperature up towards 20 degrees or even more. That is when the lovely beach just below the hotel really comes into its own.
