Bergsetdalen - Bergsetbreen

The starting point for this hike is the parking lot at Bergset, the furthermost farm in the Krundalen valley. From the parking lot, you follow the path close to the river, continue along a tractor path, and then follow the marked path along the Bergsetdalen valley.

The vegetation is lush to begin with, however the closer you get to the glacier, the vegetation become more sparse. 

At Bergsetbreen, the northern side of the valley will attract your attention. Do not hike to close to the glacier, as there is a particular risk of ice falls. 

The hike to the glacier takes about 1 hour.
